quick tips
Keep the Brewing Unit Clean
The Beko CaffeExperto CEG7304X uses a removable brewing unit. Regularly remove and rinse it according to Beko's cleaning instructions to prevent coffee residue building up and affecting extraction, water flow and brewing performance.
Adjust the Coffee Grinder Correctly
The CEG7304X features 13 grinder settings, allowing you to adjust coffee extraction. If coffee dispenses too slowly, try a slightly coarser setting. Only adjust the grinder while it is operating, and allow several coffees for the change to take effect.
Maintain the Milk System
Clean the milk system after preparing milk-based drinks to prevent dried milk residue restricting the flow. Follow the CEG7304X milk system cleaning procedure, paying particular attention to the milk tube and removable milk-contact components.
Check the Water Tank Is Properly Seated
The CEG7304X has a 2-litre removable water tank. Always ensure it is filled and correctly positioned before preparing drinks. An incorrectly fitted tank can interrupt the water supply and prevent normal brewing.
Descale When Required
Follow the CEG7304X descaling programme when the machine indicates that maintenance is needed. Limescale can restrict internal water passages, affect heating performance and reduce water flow. Use a suitable coffee machine descaler and complete the full programme.
Use the Manual Rinsing Function
The CEG7304X includes a manual rinsing function operated using the cleaning/rinsing button while the machine is idle. Regular rinsing helps clear loose coffee residue from the dispensing circuit and keeps the machine ready for its next drink.
faq's
How often should I clean my Beko CaffeExperto CEG7304X?
Empty and clean the drip tray and coffee grounds container regularly, rinse the brewing unit according to Beko's instructions and clean the milk system after preparing milk drinks. Descale when prompted by the machine.
Why is my Beko CEG7304X dispensing coffee slowly?
An excessively fine grinder setting, coffee residue around the brewing unit or restricted coffee outlets may reduce dispensing speed. Check the grinder setting and clean the brewing components before investigating a possible internal blockage.
Can I adjust the coffee strength on my Beko CEG7304X?
Yes. The CEG7304X allows you to adjust coffee preparation settings, including grind size. The 13-position grinder can influence extraction and flavour, while the machine's drink settings provide further control over coffee preparation.
