quick tips

  • Use the Coffee Eye for perfect cup placement

The Jura J10 features Coffee Eye intelligent cup detection, which recognises whether your cup is under the coffee or milk spout, helping ensure the correct drink is dispensed from the right outlet.

  • Use the correct grinder setting for Cold Brew

When preparing a Cold Brew, the grinder must be set to MILD. If it's left on INTENSE, the J10 will prompt you to change the grinder setting before brewing.

  • Clean the Sweet Foam syrup attachment immediately

After making Sweet Foam drinks, remove the syrup attachment and rinse it thoroughly under running water to prevent sticky syrup residue affecting future drinks.

  • Keep milk between 4–8°C

For the finest milk foam, Jura recommends using milk chilled to 4–8°C. A milk cooler or insulated milk container helps achieve the best texture and consistency.

  • Personalise every drink in seconds

Touch and hold any drink for around 2 seconds to customise coffee strength, drink volume, temperature, permanent pre-selections and even rearrange your favourites on the home screen.

  • Don't skip daily milk system cleaning

The J10 automatically reminds you to clean the milk system after preparing milk drinks. Daily cleaning keeps the professional fine foam frother performing at its best and helps prevent poor foam quality or milk residue build-up.

FAQ's

  • Can the Jura J10 make true Cold Brew coffee?

Yes. The Jura J10 prepares Cold Brew using Jura's Cold Extraction Process, which pulses cold water through freshly ground coffee at high pressure rather than brewing hot coffee and cooling it. For the best results, use fresh cold water, add ice to your glass, and ensure the grinder is set to the MILD position before brewing.

  • How does the Sweet Foam feature work on the Jura J10?

The J10 includes a dedicated Sweet Foam system that mixes syrup directly into the milk foam using the supplied syrup attachment. Simply fill the attachment to your preferred sweetness level, connect it to the milk frother, and select a compatible milk-based drink. After use, the attachment should be removed and rinsed thoroughly to prevent syrup residue from building up.

  • What is Coffee Eye on the Jura J10?

Coffee Eye is the J10's intelligent cup detection system. It recognises whether your cup is positioned beneath the coffee spout or the milk frother and automatically highlights the appropriate drinks on the touchscreen. This helps reduce mistakes and ensures beverages are dispensed from the correct outlet. Coffee Eye can also be enabled or disabled in the machine settings.
