Jura e10 support

The Jura E10 brings four distinct styles of coffee preparation into one machine: traditional hot coffee, Cold Brew, Light Brew and Sweet Foam milk specialities. It offers 36 drinks, a P.A.G.2+ grinder with Aroma Control, a 3.5-inch colour display and the HP3/CX3 milk system. Don't mistake the E10's Cold Brew drinks for ordinary coffee poured over ice. The E10's Cold Extraction Process uses cold water, pulsed under high pressure. Dedicated Cold Brew choices include espresso, coffee, Americano, lungo, cortado, espresso macchiato, cappuccino, flat white and latte macchiato.

If you've selected Light Brew, don't diagnose the lower drink temperature as a heating fault. Jura states that Light Brew is made using less coffee and at a brewing temperature of approximately 60°C, producing a lighter drink intended to be ready to drink immediately.

The E10's Sweet Foam function flavours the milk foam rather than simply adding syrup to the finished drink. The syrup attachment is supplied with the machine, and Sweet versions are available for drinks including cortado, espresso macchiato, cappuccino, flat white and latte macchiato. Milk-path hygiene is therefore particularly important after preparing these drinks.

The E10 uses Jura's P.A.G.2+ grinder with seven programmable grind levels. Aroma Control monitors the grinder setting, while the grinder returns to its resting position after preparation. This is a substantially different grinding system from older E-series machines, so use the E10's own settings rather than following instructions intended for an older Jura E model.

The E10 uses Jura's HP3 milk system with CX3 interchangeable milk spout and has automatic One-Touch milk-system cleaning. Jura specifically says the milk system should be cleaned daily whenever milk has been prepared.

The E10 incorporates Quality Assistant, automatic filter detection, monitored drip tray and integrated rinsing, cleaning and descaling programmes. It uses the CLARIS Smart+ filter, which the machine automatically detects. Following these prompts is preferable to maintaining the E10 on an arbitrary schedule.
