Philips LatteGo leaking from the bottom

This is usually caused by one of the following:

• The two LatteGo parts are not connected correctlyRemove LatteGoReassemble both sections firmly until you hear a clear clickSome pressure may be required for correct assembly
• The transport clip has not been removedNew LatteGo systems are supplied with a transport clip fittedThis must be removed before use

Why does LatteGo have a small hole in the milk container?

The small hole in the bottom of the LatteGo milk container is normal.

• It allows milk to flow into the frothing chamber
• The seal between the container and LatteGo frame creates the milk channel required for frothing

This is part of the normal LatteGo design.

Why is there milk left in the LatteGo container after use?

It is normal for a small amount of milk to remain after frothing.

This helps:

• Maintain correct milk frothing performance
• Prevent air being drawn into the system during the final stage of frothing

If more milk than usual remains in the container, check the following:

• Milk quantity may have been customised using the Memo functionIf customised, the markings on the LatteGo container may no longer match the programmed drink volume
• The milk container may have been overfilledFill only to the required level for the selected drinkExample:1 cup cappuccino = lower fill level2 cup latte macchiato = higher fill level

Which coffee machines use LatteGo?

Philips LatteGo systems are only compatible with the machines they are supplied with.

• LatteGo is not interchangeable with other Philips milk systems
• LatteGo cannot normally be fitted to machines not designed for it
