  • Error Code 01 – Coffee Funnel Blocked

    What it means

    Ground coffee has become blocked inside the coffee funnel, preventing coffee from reaching the brew group.

    What to do

    • Switch the machine off and unplug it.
    • Remove the brew group.
    • Open the pre-ground coffee compartment.
    • Use the handle of the supplied measuring spoon to gently clear the coffee funnel.
    • Refit the brew group and restart the machine.
  • Error Code 03 – Brew Group Dirty

    What it means

    The brew group is dirty, dry or requires lubrication.

    What to do

    • Remove the brew group.
    • Rinse it thoroughly under clean water.
    • Allow it to air dry completely.
    • Lubricate the moving parts using food-safe brew group grease.
    • Reinstall the brew group and restart the machine.

    Regular brew group maintenance helps prevent this fault from returning.

  • Error Code 04 – Brew Group Incorrectly Positioned

    What it means

    The brew group has not been inserted correctly or is not in its home position.

    What to do

    • Switch the machine off.
    • Remove the brew group.
    • Check the brew group is in the correct reset position.
    • Reinsert until it clicks firmly into place.
    • Restart the machine.

    Never force the brew group into the machine.

  • Error Code 05 – Air in the Water Circuit

    What it means

    The machine cannot move water through the hydraulic system.

    What to do

    • Turn the machine off and back on.
    • Dispense several cups of hot water.
    • If fitted, remove the AquaClean water filter and test again.
    • Replace the filter if blocked.
    • Descale the machine if it has not been descaled recently.
  • Error Code 11 – Machine Temperature Adjustment

    What it means

    The machine has detected a significant temperature difference after transport or storage.

    What to do

    • Switch the machine off.
    • Leave it at room temperature for around 30 minutes.
    • Restart the machine.

    This fault commonly appears after moving the machine from a cold environment.

  • Error Code 14 – Machine Overheated

    What it means

    The internal temperature has become too high.

    What to do

    • Switch the machine off.
    • Leave it for approximately 30 minutes to cool.
    • Restart the machine.

    If the code returns repeatedly after cooling, further investigation may be required.

  • Error Code 19 – Power Connection Fault

    What it means

    The power lead is not correctly connected to the rear of the machine.

    What to do

    • Switch the machine off.
    • Check the power connector is fully inserted into the socket on the back of the machine.
    • Check the mains supply.
    • Restart the machine.
