Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my Saeco coffee machine not making coffee?

If your Saeco coffee machine grinds the beans but no coffee comes out, check whether the brew group needs cleaning, the coffee funnel is blocked, or the machine is due for descaling. A clogged brew group or limescale restriction can reduce or stop the flow completely.

Why is my Saeco coffee machine leaking water?

Some water in the drip tray is completely normal because the machine rinses itself during use. However, excessive leaking may indicate a full or incorrectly fitted drip tray, a blocked brew group, or a component that requires cleaning or maintenance.

Why does my Saeco coffee machine keep asking me to empty the coffee grounds container?

Saeco machines count brewing cycles rather than measuring how full the container is. Always empty the grounds container while the machine is switched on, wait around five seconds before refitting it, and remove the drip tray at the same time so the counter resets correctly.
