Can I control my Siemens EQ700 from my phone?
Yes. The EQ700 supports Home Connect, allowing you to browse CoffeeWorld drinks, adjust settings and control selected functions using the Home Connect app once connected to Wi-Fi.
What is CoffeeWorld?
CoffeeWorld is an exclusive EQ700 feature that expands the machine's menu with additional coffee specialities from around the world when linked to Home Connect. It gives you access to a wider range of recipes beyond the standard drink selection.
Can I personalise every drink?
Absolutely. The EQ700 allows you to adjust coffee strength, drink size, milk ratio, aroma and temperature before saving your preferred settings as personal favourites for quick access in the future.

Siemens EQ700 – "Please fill water tank." – Water tank incorrectly fitted, float stuck, old or unrinsed water filter, or limescale blocking the water system. Refit and clean the tank, rinse or replace the filter, and descale if required.

Siemens EQ700 – "Please insert brewing unit." – Brewing unit or cover is not fitted correctly. Reinsert the brewing unit, lock it into position, raise the red lever and refit the cover.

Siemens EQ700 – "Please clean brewing unit." – Brewing unit is dirty or the brewing mechanism has become stiff. Remove and thoroughly clean the brewing unit before reinstalling it.
Siemens EQ700 – "Overvoltage or undervoltage." – The incoming mains power supply is outside the permitted operating range. Operate the machine only on a 220–240V supply.

Siemens EQ700 – "Error in water system. Please restart appliance." – An internal water system fault has been detected. Disconnect the machine from the mains for 10 seconds before restarting.

Siemens EQ700 – "Please run calc'nClean programme!" (appears frequently) – The water filter may need replacing, water hardness may be set incorrectly, unsuitable descaling tablets may have been used, or the previous cleaning cycle was not completed. Replace the filter if required, check water hardness settings and run the Special Rinsing programme after descaling.
Siemens EQ700 Error E01 – Temperature Sensor Fault

The thermosensor is reporting an invalid temperature reading. This is usually caused by a faulty temperature sensor, loose wiring or an overheated brewing system. Allow the machine to cool completely, restart it and seek service if the fault returns.

Siemens EQ700 Error E02 – Overheat Protection Triggered

The thermoblock has exceeded its safe operating temperature. Limescale, restricted water flow or a blocked outlet are the most common causes. Allow the machine to cool, clean the brew unit and run a descaling programme.

Siemens EQ700 Error E03 – Flowmeter Error

The machine cannot accurately detect water flow. Airlocks, limescale, a faulty flowmeter or a stalled pump may be responsible. Refill the water tank, restart the machine, descale it and arrange service if the error persists.
Siemens EQ700 Error E04 – Pump Pressure Error

Water pressure is outside the expected operating range. This is commonly caused by scale build-up, blockages, a weak pump or a clogged water filter. Descale the machine, inspect the filter and clean the brew unit.

Siemens EQ700 Error E05 – Brew Unit Blocked

The brew unit cannot return to its home position. Dirty coffee residue, a jammed drive mechanism or a seized piston are the usual causes. Remove the brew unit, rinse it thoroughly, lubricate the guide rails and reinstall it correctly.

Siemens EQ700 Error E06 – Brew Unit Not Detected

The machine cannot detect the brewing unit. Check that it is fully seated and correctly locked into position. Damaged locating tabs or a faulty microswitch may also cause this error.
Siemens EQ700 Error E07 – Grinder Blocked

The grinder motor has stalled or overloaded. Oily coffee beans, foreign objects or a blocked grinder chute are the most common reasons. Empty the bean hopper, clean the grinder chute and avoid using oily or flavoured beans.

Siemens EQ700 Error E08 – Scale Build-Up Detected

Water flow or pump pressure has become inconsistent due to limescale deposits. Run a complete descaling programme and replace the water filter at the recommended intervals.

Siemens EQ700 Error E11 – Steam Temperature Sensor Fault

The milk steam temperature sensor is reporting an invalid reading. This may be caused by a faulty sensor, damaged wiring or a blocked steam circuit. Deep-clean the milk system, descale the machine and seek service if necessary.
Siemens EQ700 Error E12 – Milk Steam Pressure Error

Steam pressure during milk preparation is outside specification. A blocked milk system, steam chamber restriction or limescale is the likely cause. Clean the milk system thoroughly, descale the appliance and inspect the milk tube.

Siemens EQ700 Error E15 – Internal Leak Detected

The internal leak sensor or drip tray float has detected water where it should not be. This may indicate a leaking hose, valve or internal fitting. Disconnect the machine from the mains, inspect for visible leaks and arrange professional repair.
