The cup-shaped status light indicates machine activity.

Normal operation

• Flashing light → Machine is heating or preparing a drink
  

Red light

• The machine has detected a problem
  

If the water tank warning light is illuminated:

• Fill the tank with fresh cold water
  
• Refit the water tank securely
  
• Check the float inside the tank is not stuck
  

If the issue continues, follow Solution 3 above.

If the calc or spray warning light is red or flashing:

• Your TASSIMO requires descaling
  
• Run the descaling programme as soon as possible
  

Ignoring the descaling warning can lead to:

• Poor drink quality
  
• Reduced water flow
  
• Brewing faults
  
• Internal limescale damage

Calc light and cup light flashing together

• The descaling cycle is currently running
  
• Wait until the cycle completes
  

Water tank and calc lights flashing together

• The machine cannot prepare drinks correctly
  
• Follow Solution 2 and check the T DISC system
  

All lights flashing

• Possible power supply issue
  
• Unplug the machine for 10 seconds
  
• Reconnect and restart
  

If the problem continues, the machine may require professional inspection.
