TASSIMO leaking water
Water leaking from your Tassimo coffee machine can occur around the T DISC holder, beneath the machine or during brewing. In many cases, the cause is a worn seal, blocked brewing unit or an incorrectly fitted water tank. Before arranging a repair, carry out these simple checks:
- Check the water tank is fully seated and not cracked.
- Inspect the T DISC holder and brewing chamber for coffee residue or damage.
- Clean the piercing needle and surrounding brewing unit to remove blockages.
- Ensure the T DISC is inserted correctly and the brew head is fully closed.
- Check for worn or damaged seals around the brewing chamber.
- Empty and refit the drip tray to ensure it is correctly positioned.
- Run a cleaning or descaling cycle if the machine has not been maintained recently.
- Look underneath the machine for signs of internal leaks that may require professional repair.
Most Tassimo leaks are caused by maintenance issues rather than major component failures, and regular cleaning and descaling can help prevent them from returning.
