My Coffee Machine Assist

quick tips

  • Flush the machine before first use

The manual recommends rinsing the machine by running three Lungo cycles into a 500 ml container before making your first coffee. This primes the hydraulic system and removes any manufacturing residues.

  • Rinse the milk jug after every milk drink

The Rapid Cappuccino System should be dismantled and cleaned after preparing milk recipes. Regular cleaning prevents blocked milk nozzles and poor frothing performance.

  • Only use fresh cold drinking water

Always fill the 1-litre water tank with fresh drinking water. If the machine has not been used for several days, replace the water before brewing coffee.

  • Use genuine Nespresso capsules

The machine is specifically designed for Nespresso Original capsules. Damaged, deformed or previously used capsules can cause leaks or brewing faults.

  • Descale as soon as the descaling light appears

The manual advises carrying out the complete descaling programme using the recommended Nespresso descaling solution to maintain brewing temperature and coffee flow.

  • Empty the machine before long storage

If the machine will not be used for an extended period or is being transported, perform the system emptying procedure to protect internal components from frost and stagnant water.

FAQ's

  • Why isn't my Lattissima One producing good milk foam?

The manual recommends dismantling and cleaning the Rapid Cappuccino System after every milk preparation. Blocked milk passages are the most common cause of poor frothing.

  • Why are my coffee buttons flashing when I switch the machine on?

Flashing buttons indicate the machine is heating up. Once the buttons become solid white, the machine is ready to brew. The warm-up time is approximately 18 seconds.

  • Can I use any coffee capsule?

No. The Lattissima One is designed exclusively for Nespresso Original capsules. Using incompatible or damaged capsules may prevent correct extraction or cause water leakage.
