frequently asked questions

Why is my Lavazza coffee machine not dispensing coffee?

If your Lavazza machine powers on but does not dispense coffee, first check that the water tank is filled and correctly seated and that the capsule is inserted correctly for your model. A restricted water circuit, trapped air or scale build-up can also reduce or completely stop the flow. If the pump can be heard but no water appears, try running water without a capsule where your model's instructions allow it before moving on to further troubleshooting.

Why is my Lavazza coffee machine flashing and not working?

Flashing lights on Lavazza machines can indicate normal warm-up, a maintenance request or a fault, depending on the model and the particular light pattern. For example, A Modo Mio machines do not all use identical indicator sequences. Note which buttons or symbols are illuminated, whether they are steady or flashing, and the exact machine model before attempting a reset or maintenance procedure.

Why is my Lavazza coffee machine making a loud noise but no water is coming out?

A loud pump with little or no water flow can indicate that the machine is struggling to draw water. Check that the tank contains enough water and is seated correctly. If the tank has recently run empty, air may also have entered the water circuit. Persistent poor flow can additionally be associated with a restriction or scale build-up, so follow the priming or descaling procedure specified for your Lavazza model rather than repeatedly operating the pump dry.
