Quick Tips

Quick Tips

  • Refill and Reseat the Water Tank

Remove the water tank and fill it with fresh water up to the MAX mark. Refit it firmly so the tank valve connects correctly with the machine. The Dinamica specifically advises checking that the tank is fully inserted if a water-circuit problem persists.

  • Prime an Empty Water Circuit

If the display shows “Water circuit empty – Fill water circuit – Hot water – Confirm?”, press OK and allow water to dispense from the hot-water spout until the flow becomes normal. This is the machine's built-in procedure for refilling an empty hydraulic circuit.

  • Check the Water Filter

A recently fitted or incorrectly primed water filter can restrict the supply of water from the tank. If the problem started after changing the filter, remove the filter temporarily and test the machine without it. If normal water flow returns, correctly prime and refit the filter or replace it. Dinamica documentation also provides a dedicated Replace Filter warning when the fitted filter is exhausted.

  • Test the Hot-Water Function

Fit the hot-water spout and request hot water. This is a useful way of separating a general water-flow problem from a coffee-side blockage. If no water comes from the hot-water outlet either, concentrate first on the tank, filter, priming and water circuit rather than the coffee spouts. The Dinamica uses the hot-water outlet when refilling an empty circuit.

  • Clean the Coffee Outlet Spouts

If hot water works normally but coffee isn't reaching the cup, inspect the two coffee outlet holes. Dried coffee deposits can obstruct them. Clean around the outlets with a cloth or sponge and carefully clear deposits from the holes. This is the specified remedy for a Dinamica where coffee fails to come from the coffee spouts.

  • Consider Scale or an Internal Water-Flow Fault

If the tank is full, the filter has been ruled out and repeated priming still produces little or no water, the restriction may be further inside the hydraulic circuit. Complete the descale programme if it is due. If the pump can be heard operating but the machine still cannot establish water flow after these checks, an internal blockage, pump problem, flow-meter issue or water inlet fault may require further diagnosis. The Dinamica has a dedicated descale programme and warns when descaling is required.

  • Why Is My Dinamica Still Not Frothing Milk After Cleaning?

If the machine produces steam but the milk isn't being drawn correctly, go back through the removable milk components.

Pay particular attention to the milk intake tube, milk spout, froth adjustment dial and internal passages within the milk-container lid.

The Dinamica's own troubleshooting guidance identifies a dirty milk system as a cause of poor or absent milk delivery.

Make sure every component has been reassembled correctly as well. A clean milk system can still perform poorly if the intake tube, spout or adjustment dial isn't seated correctly.

  • Why Does My Dinamica Keep Asking Me to CLEAN?

The CLEAN message is part of the normal milk-system maintenance process.

After milk has been delivered, the machine asks for the internal tubes in the milk container to be cleaned.

Turn the froth adjustment dial to CLEAN when prompted and allow the cleaning process to finish.

Afterwards, return the dial to the required froth position.

  • Milk System Cleaning Tips

Run CLEAN after using the milk system. This flushes the milk pathways inside the carafe lid before remaining milk has time to dry.

Deep cleaning still matters. The automatic CLEAN programme doesn't remove the need to dismantle and wash the milk-system components.

Check the small passages. Milk-system problems are often caused by contamination in the intake tube, milk spout or areas around the froth adjustment dial rather than dirt visible on the outside of the carafe.

Reassemble carefully. Make sure the milk intake tube, milk spout and froth adjustment dial are all correctly fitted before testing the machine.

Don't leave milk at room temperature. Return remaining milk to the refrigerator after you've finished making drinks.

Clean before diagnosing a machine fault. If milk flow or froth quality deteriorates, thoroughly cleaning the milk carafe is one of the first checks to perform.
