With no capsule inserted, empty the capsule container and drip tray, place a container beneath the coffee outlet, lock the machine and press the coffee button three times within two seconds. Limescale naturally builds up inside every coffee machine, particularly in hard water areas. When your Nespresso machine indicates that descaling is required, carry out the complete descaling procedure using the official Nespresso descaling solution. Avoid using vinegar or homemade descaling mixtures, as these can damage internal components and affect brewing performance. Regular descaling helps maintain the correct water temperature, brewing pressure and coffee flow while extending the life of your machine.
